Managing Partner
Ken Helms is Managing Partner of Helms Law Group, PA. He concentrates his law practice in the areas of Civil Litigation, Real Estate, Business Law, Estate Planning, and Estate Administration. He represents clients for Personal Injury, Wrongful Death, Workers Compensation, Construction Law, Corporate Law, Real Estate Law, and other business related disputes. Ken also represents individual fiduciaries in issues arising from alleged breaches of fiduciary duties and caveats to wills. He has represented commercial real estate developers in connection with all aspects of negotiation, acquisition, development, and financing matters, including easement agreements, restrictive covenants, condominium declarations and owners’ association documents.
Ken was born in 1962 in Monroe, North Carolina. He graduated in 1985 from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a bachelor’s degree. He was admitted to the North Carolina State Bar after completing law school at Wake Forest University School of Law in 1988.
Ken is licensed to practice law in all North Carolina State Courts as well as the United States Federal Courts for the Western and Eastern Districts of North Carolina. He has represented clients before the North Carolina Business Court, the North Carolina Court of Appeals, and the North Carolina Supreme Court.
Ken is a native of Union County and he currently resides in the Unionville community with his wife, Martha, and three children.
